Tom Tanel has an international reputation in purchasing management, inbound transportation, supply management, negotiations, and warehousing.  With more than 30 years of experience, he offers a practical perspective in purchasing and supply as a result of his progressive management, staff and consulting positions.

The President and CEO of CATTAN Services Group, Inc a logistic and supply chain management consulting and training firm , Tom is Certified in Transportation and Logistics and is a Certified Cost Analyst. Having been designated as a Lifetime Certified Purchasing Manager by the Institute of Supply Management and he serves as Vice Chair for their  Logistics and Transportation Group.  He has served as a member of both the American Purchasing Society’s Executive and Education Committee and been named in the International Supply Chain Management Who’s Who, Who’s Who in the East, and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.

Tom is a seasoned, global veteran with experience spanning the United States, Australia, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean Basin, Europe, Middle East, South America, and the Far East. Tom Tanel has conducted over 700 lectures and seminars for colleges and universities, NAPM/ISM affiliates, professional associations and societies, and in-company clients, as well as a sought out speaker.
